toys!

karene @ 4:08 PM 1 comments

I wanted so much to buy this in Hong Kong, but the machine only accepts payment via Octupus Card -- which I didn't have. ):

But I did manage to buy so many other toys, I feel just that little bit comforted. Haa!

Lookie what I found!

So funny, hehe. See, this is what you get when you put my favourite plush toys with my recent food hype.

Edible (almost!) plush from MyPaperCrane. Haha. I love these. So fun. And the copywriting that goes along with each plush is really funky too. Mmm..

yummy amigurumi!

karene @ 12:23 PM 1 comments

Trust the Japanese to come up with the cutest designs. It's like they invented the word to describe themselves that you can't use it anywhere else.

Kawaaiii!!!

So Lou is having a sale - free shipping for orders above $30USD, for all her stash of Japanese craft books and I haven't been able to peel my eyes off them. Eeeeeps! If only I knew how to crochet them! I can't figure them out myself - well, at least I think I can't cause I haven't tried. Haha.

But I did buy a little crochet penguin while I was in Bangkok recently and boy, it was less than $2 and so very extremely cute. Maybe I should just stick to buying them off the shelves instead of trying to make them myself. :(

Well, one day if I get to live a tai tai lifestyle. I'll make them myself. But for now, shopping is the way to go!!! Yaaayy!!! Hehehe.

Look at these adorable Amigurumi toys from pureEVA's etsy shop! Too bad they're all sold out. :(

Now all I want is a Amigurumi mouse. Hehe.

Looks simple enough, huh?

Anyway, I recently bought Toys 2 Sew book from Kino that has some really swell patterns for a tortoise, an elephant, a teacup set (so cute!) and miceys too! :D I just hope that I will finally find the time to go and do them. It's so troublesome to enlarge the patterns and then transfer them on the cloth. I had prep work!!!

Okay, enough blabber. Happy holidays! (whatever's left)

more cubic madness!

karene @ 3:02 PM 0 comments

I got myself two more cubic toys!

A hamster who holds a sunflower seed (removable!) and the amazing thing about mine is my hamster doesn't come with the regular brick-cube-home. My little fella's home forms a heart shape instead of a circle! I'll update with a photo if I can find but the hammy looks like this, less the green cube. :)

And I got a papillon too!

I love!

cubic-cubey-cute!

These little fellas in the stackable cubes are so adorable that I bought four today! Even though I didn't quite get the ones I wanted, I love these all the same - especially the black little pug pup. So cute!~

The two dogs are from Volume 1 series of pups, while the two small mammals are from... Flockyland! :) Hee. See the full range here! And while you're at it... buy me a few, yeah? They're $3.95 each at Action City. ;)
